Ethical Employment
We pay above the minimum wage across all roles, ensure prompt payment, and provide every operative with the training, equipment and support they need to work safely and effectively.
SIA Compliance
Every operative deployed by APL Security holds a valid SIA licence. We actively support the SIA's licensing regime and maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards unlicensed working.
Community
Rooted in Manchester's Northern Quarter since our founding, we are proud supporters of local business, local employment, and Manchester's cultural venues. We prioritise recruiting locally wherever possible.
Environment
We are actively working to reduce our environmental footprint, from transitioning our vehicle fleet, to reducing paper-based processes, to choosing suppliers who share our environmental values.
Wellbeing
Security work can be demanding. We take our duty of care seriously, providing mental health support resources, open-door management, and a culture where operatives feel valued and respected.
Continuous Improvement
We invest in ongoing training beyond the minimum SIA requirements, including first aid, conflict management, and specialist venue or event qualifications, to ensure our teams deliver excellence.
